So I was bidding on an ebay product, when I learned it was from a starter pack...

....

Any info or reviews on the peavey nano valve 5 watt tube amp would be appreciated..

The auction is going to close in about a day, and I need to know if I should let someone outbid me, or if I scored a deal with a 120$ tube amp.

Thank you.

It's like an epiphone valve jr. Not bad, but a bit lacking in versatility.

Yeah. My thoughts were the same. I think with my multi FX I should be fine, but anyones opinions/knowledge would be appreciated.

I never played it, but I wouldn't go over $120 for it, either. You can get some neat, vintage, hand-wired stuff for that kind of money. Like an old Danelectro or Harmony.

I don't know much about it. I think these are not commonly available in the US, I have seen them advertised on European sites. From what I know of Peavey the $120 is a decent deal. However you can get a brand-new Peavey Valveking Royal 8 5watt tube combo for $200 USD. Has a kind of small speaker, but good features otherwise.

Hah. Well depending on if this goes thru or not, I'll probably get either that or one of the crate (Palomino?) 5 watt tubes.

Crate Palomino is also a nice amp with a bigger speaker.

Yes I have actually, but you can't go wrong at that price I mean not everybody can afford 1500$ for a 10w orange amp... And that's 10w after rounding
