after using the site for some time, when i click on the UG logo to go to the main page, it brings a password box up. Upon entering any kind of password, or no password at all, the site displays a white page with the following message:

"Protected Object
This object on the APC Management Web Server is protected. Either your User Name/Password is invalid, or your access is restricted. "

WTF DOES IT MEAN?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!!

well, it only happens after a while.. if i keep browsing this site, i give it up to 10 mins more before it does it again

it happens if i click on anything, just after a certain amount of time

it isn't a firewall problem

That is really....odd....

APC makes UPS devices (uninterruptable power supply) and some of them have web interfaces. There is no reason someone from an external network should be able to access a UPS. It is possible you are somehow connecting to a UPS at the datacenter that UG is at, however I would hope that isn't the case...

Are you on a home network or a large network (eg work, college)?
