Stage Effects

i've decided since i haven't seen any threads on this (please redirect me if i'm wrong) that there should be a forum on novelty stage effects... post ideas, pictures, links to videos, the works, on your custom/novelty stage effects (lighting, etc.)!

i'm thinking a foot-pedal strobe control? to be placed in the bass drum or something of the like?

We used to have some dried ice at our gigs. And really small fireworks coming out of the kick drum. Nothing too dangerous but people appreciate when you put an effort into making your stage act look like something.
