yea, yea. maybe wrong thread, but okay... I just looked up the chords for 'Paint it Black' so I could play it on my new ukulele... and what the hell is H7?! There is no H is music! It seems to have F#, B, D# and A in it... anyone know what's going on with this?!

My guess is it's supposed to be the unknown note of summoning Satan...

Or it could be a typo since H is next to G

Nope, it's the German H chord.

Some german guy, I think it was Bach thought Bb would confuse people, and so the H is in fact B, and and a german B was actually Bb.

I thought Germany used an H note instead of B. I'm pretty sure they do, i've seen it on a couple tabs...

dunno about a chord, though...

:haha this reminds me of this one show where some dude comes on and he claims he invents the "R" chord. He just goes, "Ladies and gentlemen, the R chord..."

Anytime.

I think all the H thing was abolished some time ago, they use a B now like everyone else.

Interesting story about the H note....In Bach's "The Art of Fugues", he spelt his name with the notes to create a main theme for one of fugues. I think it was the unfinished one.
