Ornette Coleman.

That way, I wouldn't have to worry about playing chord progressions...

Anyone who can play an instrument. I'm really not fussed about their skill level, jams are fun with anybody imo.

I'd have to say both full bands of Collard Greens And Gravy and The Bondi Cigars. All in one jam, they'd be awesome together. I would probably prefer to just watch!

probably hendrix. i think he'd be really fun to play with. i had a dream once that i jammed with SRV and double trouble. he showed me licks and stuff but in real life they didnt really work. but in the dream i remember thinking it made so much sense.

word. although, i dont hate them, its just frustrating when they cant jam properly. the thing that annoys me is when im trying to take the song in a new direction and they dont pick up on it. that or they just stop the song when im doing something just cuz they figure the song should end now. its hard to find people who know how to really jam. even my friends who are good players do these things. so usually i end up playing mostly rhythm and trying to get them to go exploring but i never get to get in one the action like that. if i solo, nothing happens with them. they keep the song the same and it gets boring.

Yeah, because I remember when I wanted to start jamming and things and I'd get overlooked because I wasn't "l33t" enough, and I find a lot of people that have only been playing for a little while bring new ideas to the mix because they don't have many concepts of how something "should" be.
