Can anyone name this song?

I heard a song the other day, it sounded like it was an 80s song or maybe late 70s. All i can remeber is it ends with "Na Na nananana Nanana Na Na Nanana" and they keep singing it at the end of the song until people star whistling ths same tune. At first I thought it was that annoying "cottoneye Joe" song by Rednex (*shudders*) but it sin't. it does have a similar tune. It's a really, really famous song. Anyone have a clue what I'm talking about.
