I totally agree with 'Live At The Regal' ( . That is a beast of an album.

As for Freddie King, I would just get his album called 'Freddie King Is A Blues Master' ( It's a great album.

Albert King, I have an Album with Stevie Ray Vaughan and Albert King, and it's amazing! I would suggest buying it. It's called 'In Session 1983' (

Chuck Berry, Just get his Anthology. Called 'Chuck Berry: Gold' ( It's a two disc album with all his hits.

That's all that I can think about for the moment.

For Wes: Get Smokin' at the Half Note RIGHT NOW. Also pick up Incredible Jazz Guitar.

Pass: I'll suggest one or two of his Virtuoso series (they're all good, and the kind of playing that he's known for). Also get Chops (with NHOP)

McLaughlin: Extrapolation and Devotion are both excellent, and nicely different. I don't like his new stuff.

Metheny - Look for his early trio stuff. Also get Song X (his collaboration with O. Coleman) if you're into free jazz.

Parker - Now's the Time is excellent. There's some really great box sets out there too, look around.
