I was gonna suggest walking away. Here's to life by Streetlight is good too. Super Orgy Porno Party by the Planet Smashers is good, but not too challenging.

EDIT: For Here's to life go on tTabs, I don't think the tabs on here are very good for that one.

Try Out Your Voice by Big D and the Kids Table has a cool bass line but I'm not sure how difficult it is to play.

I'd suggest you a ****load of Anti-flag but this says ska, I know streetlight manifesto have a lot of good basslines though. What about 500 Channels by Choking Victim. Gang Control by Leftover Crack?

I second here's to life also.

Anyway ones I were gonna reccomend: Bring Out Your Dead, Angry Young and Poor, The Press Corpse, Kill The Rich and Spaz's House Destruction Party.

Anything off 'Somewhere in Between' by Streetlight Manifesto, if not, try anything off 'Everything went Numb'. Most tabs can be found right on this site.

I dunno why people give out Leftover crack suggestions, they aren't very ska-punk, especially on their newer stuff, it's alot closer to punk/metal or hardcore than ska-punk now.

And that's for the better.

I'd say English Beat songs, cuz two-tone ska is quite literally ska with an old school punk attitude.

Actually their newer stuff is more ska-ish. On "Deadline" most of the songs were ska, except for, if I remember correctly, two (and one of them was a Subhumans cover, I believe).

And I agree with the "Gang Control" recommendation, it's not that hard, but it sounds cool as ****. It's also the song that inspired me to pick up a bass, so there's that. Most Streetlight songs are difficult, too, but for the most part their bass player uses a 5 string bass.

Yeah, Deadline the music was lighter.

The music on F*ck World Trade is my favorite, real dark and sh*t.

Yeah, but most of the tabs on here are transcribed for four string.

Bass players should make do with 4 strings and be bloody grateful for them.

I don't go around asking for extra strings, I use the 6 or less that I'm given.

F*cking bass players, always wanting more and more.

Next they'll want to be the timbral focus of the music.

Civil Rights movement? That was merely an excuse to popularise funk and soul music.

Someone should go back in time to tell OJ Simpson to kill Bootsy Collins and not Dr King.
