I want to start learning some blues songs
Something that isn't really easy but easy enough for me to play the solo.

Learn standards, such as Stormy Monday and Statesboro Blues.

little wing, rude mood, come on part 1.

seriously though, playing blues isn't about knowing the songs, it's about knowing the music. if you know the basic rhythm of the song, and can feel that beat out, just work around it. switch keys, improvise. all that stuff.

the best suggestion that I have for you is to immerse yourself in the musuc, and get the feel of it before you start playing it.

Sweet Home Chicago is coolio song, but its a bit hard for me, Some Eric Clapton stuff (just get a CD of his stuff and then pick out the bluesy deals), You could look up some Bo Diddley or Muddy Waters, I don't know really! Like imgooley said, just immerse yourself in the music and you'll start picking stuff up. Lessons would help too, just somebody to guide you on the path to bluesyness...

Good luck!

Blues is simple music, learn the basic theory behind it, and I think you'll find that does a world more than simply learning one song.

but if you need a good simple simple one learn bring it on home by Sonny boy Williamson, nothing easier than that, nothing.

That song is damn easy.

I think that it was Jimi (or someone) that said Blues is easy to play, but hard to play well

and truer words have never been spoken

actually I like this one of SRV's

"you feel the blues first, you just do, and over time, you learn to show others how well you feel it"
