Hey people,
and me and some other people want to play a song.
The thing is that it cant have any swearing in it, it has to be less than 4 minutes long and it has to only have 1-2 guitar parts.
so far ive thought of
Macy's Day Parade-Green day
Misery Business- Paramore
Seven Nation Army-White Stripes
makedamnsure-Taking Back Sunday (that ones a maybe because of the word 'damn')

so ya help me out people, talent show is really fun and i want to be in it this year so
suggest some songs!!
l8er shredders :peace:

Guns N' Roses, Think About You OR Nightrain. Doesn't seem like the same style, but don't let your band get held back by genre. We play everything from Metallica to Lynyrd Skynyrd.

well itd be really hard to pull of misery business or makedamnsure unless your singer is REALLY talented. so try the other two, so you can avoid sounding like ****

ya our singer is pretty good, i think she can sing that high(misery business), i can sing as well and im pretty sure i can sing makedamnsure

oh and answering COB...
if i had a choice we would play hardcore metal or something like that, but all those songs are too long and have a lot of swearing

Do something that...shows more talent than what you suggested.

Pride and Joy - SRV
Good Times, Bad Times - Led Zeppelin

I have a perfect one for you.

2 RAK 005 by Bracket... fun to play, fun to hear, sung in kind of a similar style as Green Day

Joker and the Thief by Wolfmother, perfect for a girl, and the guitar part is fun.

Excuse me? Their tabs go something like this:
----------------------------------
----------------------------------
----------------------------------
----------------------------------
----------------------------------
--0--0--1--0--1--0--0--0--1-

Not exactly skill. Their singer sucks too...

Plug In Baby by Muse, if your bassist is at least decent and you can nail the riff

Fade to Black. Trust me my band I even do it at real gigs sometimes. Not a terribly hard song either.

I think Joker and the Theif would be good, but it takes a keyboard to sound really good.

'Zombie' by the Cranberries.
It's nothing particularly difficult,
a female lead singer makes it awesome,
and your friends will re-live the 90's.
'Nuff said.
