i almost thought the similarity was coincidence, but then Trivium did the little harmonised bit to further the intro, and the plagiarism was complete.

I think the difference between medicine and poison by circa survive is really tight
but as far as legendary goes i think the little ones that Bob Marley puts in front of almost all his songs could suffice

Song For The Dead Queens Of The Stone Age. You can't discount it even if the intro starts after 30 secs. It still is an awesome drum track the whole way through. I've seen it live and i've also seen several videos were Joey Castillo (QOTSA drummer) faint after it.

Supersonic by Oasis. It's the box standard boom, tat, boom boom, tat, but it sets the perfect tempo and when the guitar kicks in over it it sounds great.
