I just bought their newest album Get Warmer and I love it! They have a really unique sound and I love the horns, what do you guys think of them, have you even heard of them?

But their name will get them somewhere..... NOT! haha

You BOUGHT their new album?

They have all of their albums available for free via download on their site. That's part of their thing, with the name and all.

I have all the albums (I'm a sucker for free things). They're okay, I tend to like their ska tracks a bit more. They've always been just a bit too poppy and upbeat for me, but I can still enjoy them from time to time. Especially for free.

They were alright live, which was my first time hearing them. Their other band, Pegasuses XL, blew me away live, but my friend bought the CD and it's just generic techno ****.

Oh well.

Their cover of "Anywhere I Lay my Head" was icky.

I plan on attending a Slackers show in April that has them on the bill...

I dunno how I feel aboot dat.

I think their DIY ethic allows their subpar music to be championed as somethin' better than it is...

Nah, it really does depend. I saw them at the Loft a while ago and then at a local show like two months ago, they rocked the Loft and the second show sucked terribly.

The Arrogant Sons Of Bitches are better. Can't really get into most Bomb The Music Industry! songs. Sometimes it just seems like he throws **** into the songs without thinking about why it's there and it coems out sounding like a musical jumble sale.

welp it did sell out before i got there so i win for thinking ahead! Bomb the music industry was AWESOME, i haven't been to a show in a long time and i had forgotten how much i loved being pushed around with a bunch of hot and sweaty punks while having speakers slowly make your hearing worse and worse. A ton of energy and i met some cute punk girls and got their phone numbers *high five*! I met another kid who was from new hampshire and i asked if he was you I Pwn but he wasnt...:( i was looking forward to meeting a Punx forum member for a long time but i thought it would be awkward to yell out I PWN into the crowd.

I was the scrawny kid with wavy shoulder length hair and glasses that climbed onstage screamed "****" into the mic that was held out to me because I didn't know the words, then turned around and stagedove. I think I hurt some girl when I landed though because I was wearing hiking boots. I felt bad.

You probably wouldn't recognize me based on that though. It was just a fun story.

So BTMI's new album "Vacations!" came out and i just don't really know what to the think of the album as a whole. I love a bunch of the songs but it seems like a lot of the "fun" that used to be in the music got sucked out, and it's more of an album to throw in when you're in your room, on a shitty shitty night, with a 40oz. Idk, has anyone else checked it out?

It's more mature than most of their previous records. I agree that it's my favorite record to listen to after a super shitty day. But really, the whole album works so well from front to back. It's 100% Bomb! and it's 100% awesome.

I walked back from a house show the other night (4 miles. At 3AM. And I don't even drink. What is wrong with me?) with these two people who decided to listen to BtMI! together. And not just random songs, they listened to Scrambles. And they probably spent about 30 minutes trying to keep the songs in sync. That was a weird journey.

...that's all I have to say about BtMI!

BTMI! came to town last week. My buddy booked them and we did the whole thing DIY. Such a great show. Sounds like it may be their last time touring the states for a while - such a bummer. Vacation came out over a year ago and I still listen to it every day. But all of their records mean a lot to me. Great band.
