2 questions for jazzists

Hello everyone,
in these days I'm a lot into jazz music, and I'd like to ask you some things:
-I like the saxophone sound, how can i have a sound similar to it with my guitar(with no midi)?
-How hard is to play saxophone?Is it possible to learn it too without going crazy for practicing?

It takes a lot of players a long time to get that horn sound people always talk about. It's all about the phrasing really. There's no easy answer, just listen to lots of good horn players. for tone, you could get a boss SG-1 or some similar pedal that acts as a swell, and set it to short time, so it only just takes the initial attack off your playing.
