Check out my band's new song...not really sure (nor do I care) what genre of music we fall under. This song is going to have a lot of clean vocal sections in addition to our usual harsh screaming. Tell me what you think, we'll take any advice or suggestions because we haven't recorded this song yet. I'll also give C4C. :D

Also, here's our myspace:

Very cool. I really like the contrasting musical styles playing over one another. Good job.

Thanks man. I try my best not to limit myself by a specific genre when I write. :D

Its good reminds me of avenged sevenfold abit. Just the early break down in the song. The music box at 35-41 is awesome. That kept me interested. the bending at 46 and 47 i wasnt fond off. Maybe try bending another note. I like how u made the intro the outro that was cool. Gj 8.9/10 c4c

Thanks JT, just gave you a crit on your song. The bends are actually played a little differently, it's just difficult to get them to sound right in Guitar Pro. We'll work something out there though.

This stuff is really good! At a few parts I found it a little bit boring. Like the part where there were just E5 being played for maybe ten measures. Maybe adding a little more variation. Well, well. That depends on peoples taste. But I think this song was cool!

Thanks guys. BKG, im not entirely sure I know what section you're talking about (83-55?), but thanks for the kind words.

And thanks BR. We're really big on breakdowns so we have a lot of parts like that, but we won't play a breakdown unless it has either an odd rhythm or a unique twist. But it's all about personal tastes and opinon. I can see how it would get boring very easily if you weren't into that kind of thing.
