Yep.
And as much as you may hate me for it, The Black Parade.

You know what, I didn't post it because I thought I'd get flamed, but I really did like the Black Parade. I downloaded that CD, (Dead! was on Guitar Hero II and I liked it) and then I got their other albums because I liked it... let's just say I was sorely disappointed.

I agree. I liked Sleep, and I loved Dead and Disenchanted. I still listen to Dead from time to time - I had a great time trying to figure out what was going on in that album.

The Black Parade was actually the concept album that got me into concept albums, and also it made me realize that with some albums, you have to have the whole thing on your MP3 player for it to work.

It also made me realize I need a bigger MP3 player.

I find Kid A and Amnesiac by Radiohead have a running concept through them. Kid A is the event, Amnesiac is the aftermath.

Thrice's Alchemy Index.

All the Floyd, Mastodon, Mars Volta, Muse records mentioned.

The Moody Blues, Days Of Future Past.

Is Circa Survive's On Letting Go a concept album? Pretty much every song on it is about faith and the songs seem somewhat chronological.

Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
One of the best records ever written. Not just a concept album, they're a concept band. The album is f*cking amazing though. I can't listen to "Two Headed Boy Part 2" without almost crying. Communist's Daughter is a heart breaker too, and all from an avante-garde/folk genre.

I can't believe no one has said We're Only In It For The Money by Frank Zappa. It's mind boggling how he was able to come up w/ that and execute it so well. Some others include:

Freak Out by Frank Zappa
Dark Side by Pink Floyd
Quadrophenia by The Who
Mothership Connection by Parliament
Black Saint and the Sinner Lady by Charles Mingus
Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
Arthur by The Kinks
