Good name for a Blues Band

View Full Version : Good name for a Blues Band

I posted this question in the band naming thread in the bandleading forum but haven't got an answer yet so I figured I would ask here. Some of my friends and I are starting a blues/blues rock band and I was wondering what name sounds best.
Villanova Junction
Burning Desire
Riviera Paradise
Smoking Gun
Highway 61 Revisited

And if you have a better name fire away.
Thanks in advance.

Villanova Junction was John Mayer's band in high school.

I like Riviera Paradise personally.

I reckon Smoking Gun sounds badass. We're talking McLovin badass.

Riviera Paradise I think.

I personally like the bands with names like <Insert name> and the (the is not necessary) <insert noun>. Like Derek and the Dominoes or Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble.

Agreed. You could make a sick logo out of it too.
