While I do enjoy the old twelve bar I'm looking for something else.

Does anyone know of any songs or artists that sound like these songs?

Couldn't Stand The Weather (http://youtube.com/watch?v=gGcgcOEvqE4)
Tina Marie (http://youtube.com/watch?v=Ys5yZhEbZMQ)
Mary Had A Little Lamb (http://youtube.com/watch?v=n_rPswKG870&feature=related)
Blues Boy Tune (http://youtube.com/watch?v=4Ny5ajCn0xw)

Buddy Guy and Ray Charles.

And Mary Had a Little Lamb is a 12 bar song. So is that BB King song.

Also: Junior Wells, Earl Hooker, Magic Sam, Ry Cooder, Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band, and Jimmy Rogers are worth checking out.

Key to the Highway is an 8 bar blues I think.

Pwned.

BB King, Freddie King and Buddy Guy are perfect for what you want IMO. Check out Eric Clapton's blues stuff, John Mayer's Bluesbreakers, and Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac.

A bit off topic, but I love that vid. :)

If you want some funky blues, try Mos Def's New Danger album. Blue Black Jack especially.
