Should I go to a concert mainly for the opening act?

I want to go see STP mainly because Wolfmother is opening for them. Would that be worth it, how long would Wolfmother play?

Opening bands usually play like 8 or 9 songs. Half a typical set list.

STP will most likely put on an awesome show, and you want to see Wolfmother. go.
hell, i went to see Gojira and Annihilator when they supported Trivium, and left before Trivium came on.

Yeah, go for it. I went to a Slipknot show to see Unearth and The Dillinger Escape Plan and I'm going to a George Thorogood show to see Buddy Guy.

Depends on the band and the good thing is, you don't have to watch a band you might not like before the proper band arrives. If you don't like the second band you can leave!

It was like that when Slayer where supporting Slipknot, I was thinking well... I think it should be other other way 'round since slayer are like the kings of thrash but at least I don't have to watch SlipKnot first wooo hooooo!

So yeah, go just to see the supporting act IMO!

Wolfmothers opening. Sickness times a million (ha in a good way). Idk sometimes when u go for the openers u find u like the main band so i would.

But im only 14 and dont know the value of a dollar so im not sure what i would do if i had a job or whatever thats called.

Yeah, just go. And stick around for STP, then leave if you decide you're not enjoying yourself.
