Neil, get a poll up.

And shouldn't Ultimate Guitar be:

Ultimate-Guitar
???

I say Number 1.

Whatever, just wanted to point it out.

Did you vote for the 4th?

I really like that one as well...it's the essence of blues - but I'm a sucker for a resonator...

yeah, i voted for number 4. it was close between 3 and 4. number 3 reminds me of the back-street blues look. But like you said, number 4 is just the essence of the blues

Maybe capitalize the name of the album and the artist? :p:

I vote #4.

I voted for #2 but looking at it now it looks like it should be on the front of a tab book. Not convinced by the type face/layout, but the pictures are all pretty cool.

Number 4. My second choice would be Number 1.

Number 4 looks familiar to me. Where have I seen that before? Besides my kitchen table.
4 I likes.

I agree with Andrew, the layout of the writing isn't very good. But the last and 1st pictures are really good. Another good idea would be a Cross roads.

Being the raging teetotaller that I am, I vote #1 and don't like #4..

Alcohol and cigarettes are an essential part of blues as much as trombone lessons help you play guitar. It's a cool picture but I don't really understand how it is the essence of blues.

Anyway this is a fair vote so if it wins that's fine.

One bourbon, one scotch, one beer. - JLH

Whiskey And Good Times Blues - Big Bill Broonzy

Give me champagne when I'm thirsty, give me reefer when I want to get high - Muddy Waters

I don't take drugs and i don't smoke, but to me, cigarettes and drugs are part of the essence of a rock and roll band.

To me, a stereotypical bluesman has a bottle of whiskey by his side.

Remember guys, this isn't just the blues album. It's the blues and jazz album.

This is a very valid point. Although it's very difficult to capture both the essence of Blues and Jazz.

ES 335s are good for Jazz too tho ;)

yeah, the hollow body/booze/smokes one captures the best of blues and jazz. I change my vote to 4.

im surprised that no one has voted for number 3. I almost chose it. To me, it captures the mood of a downtown blues or jazz bar

I voted for number 4, but number 3's pretty good too. I liked it, but it just seems like the beginning of some movie about the blues or something.
