Just came from their show.

I guess they're "skacore"? But only occasionally does it get clean and upstrokes and ska-ish, but to please people, I'll use the word ska.

I wanted to moonstomp, but people just run around skanking, creating no room for you to stand in like the middle of people doing an actual circle pit, in the meaning of the word. I guess this is more me ranting about how my city's scene sucks. I say technicolour there. You know, the user on UG. Yeah, lives in the same city as me.

Thoughts on the band?

Their first album was good, 'cause a large majority of their songs were ska-punk. I heard that their new one isn't as much, so I never checked it out. Either way, their singing can sing FAST. I always thought of them as a street punk band, playing ska punk. Haven't listened to 'em in a while though.

Theyre pretty good. I like that "Fred's Got Slacks" song.

That's like the only song I really enjoy.

I can hear a definite street punk sound, but they dress like normal guys, normal hair.

Their lead guitarist was wearing a red Descendants shirt, it had Milo dressed as Uncle Sam.

Despite you not liking them, did they atleast put on a good show?

I'm going to see them in october.

Yeah, they weren't boring, and they were a little bit drunk. It was all ages, and then it was a second show, starting at 10 I think, all the same bands, same order, only 19+, so every band would be drunk, and they'll be wasted.

They went into the future and stole my band's name (The Flatlines, no "r", but still too close.) Therefore, I don't like them as peoples. But I do like some of their music.

The flatliners are sick, I'd agree with calling them skacore. I've only heard the album destroy to create, and a single on youtube, which sucked (eulogy) , but when I'm late I turn on that album because it makes me haul ass. Great driving music. I would love to see them, but they're not comming to south florida :/

I really enjoyed their first album, and I really dislike their new album. They pretty much ditched any ska in the second album, and it really sucks because of it.

Listening to Destroy to Create for the first time, enjoying it.

They aren't really Ska-core, but they do play kick ass ska, punk and ska-punk. I saw them twice at Warped tour (Union Stage MTL - a reason to attend Warped Tour) and they don't put on a over exiting show, but you know the effort's there. They give it all. And I own their new album, which still has some ska, but I must say it's one of my favorite albums. I only heard Fred's got slacks and Do or Die for the first album, both of which are great.

The lead singer wouldn't stop spitting, if he wasn't singing, he was spitting.

I like em a fair amount.

When I saw "Euology" on Much Loud for the first time I believe I said something like "It didn't take these guys long to sell out" But then it kinda grew on me. And the second single off that album is really good, and the video is hilarious. And they kicked ass live. I'd say go see em if you get a chance.

They played at Rocko's in Manch a little while ago. I didn't really like them. In fact, I've never been to a show at Rocko's that I liked.
