My friends band, whom I do merch for. They are currently playing this weekend in Austin, Tx and are currently recording their first cd. Contact them or me if you want a free demo, sticker, or button. Free. It's all for the music.

Anyway.. I saw a thread for "Flipper" and thought I'd get your guys' opinion on this local punk band.

cheers

Not too bad, guitar tone is kinda bleh though.

Their pretty good, I agree with the guitar's tone sucking though.

And you posted this is the wrong section, but whatever.

I'm listening to them now and I think they are pretty good. Simple riffs, simple chord progressions, and the back up vocals completes every song pretty well.

The more I'm listening though the more every song gets more repetitive and predictable.

How is this in the wrong section? This is actually a breath of fresh air, a new localized band that actually is punk rock.

It should be in the local scene thread but it doesn't matter.

it's alright...

I counted on you to agree with me that only the singer is good.........the rest is mediocre........all in all they sound like Screeching Weasel in a bit less good, they should sign fatwreck, they´d fit really good

Brian it´s your turn to mention that they have two guitar players

I actually like this a lot. They need to tighten up a bit, but they've got a good sound.
