View Full Version : radiohead-ish intro

This pretty much my first attempt at making up riffs and stuff.
sort of reminds me of a radiohead song, i guess i need some help with it.
I quite like the main part, but the last bit, which will probably be the chorus (Bars 8-11), Im really not happy with.

the little intro riff was pretty generic IMO but it still sounded good.
drumming could use some work. :/ just crash usually doesn't sound that good to drive a song.
measure 5 took a wrong turn IMO. the intro was building up quite a bit of quick, intense energy and then at 5 it all just went away. and why did you play 355 and then 81010 (those were the power chords if I'm confusing you :p: ) when they are the exact same? wouldn't it be easier to stay on the 5th string? I think 8-11 are pretty cool. The minor chord you slipped in there made it sound really unique and original for some reason.
but add some bass and rework the drums and maybe add in a couple leads...
overall, this looks like it could turn into a pretty good song. Just keep workin at it.
would you crit mine? it's in my sig. :)
