Hey guys... Anyone here know how I change MIDI files that were imported from guitar pro into mp3 files so I can transfer them onto my mp3 player?

I have tried uploading them to windows movie maker and converting them but MIDI files aren't supported... Any help would be a god send...

Thanks :)

You can't I don't think. MIDI is just information that tells your computer to make certain sounds.

Well that just sucks... So there is no way to get the songs on my guitar pro to my mp3 player?

Just get an audio converter, I do it all the time when trying to learn solos and what not

Audio converter, or if you want to use RSE then use Audacity to record from the sound card.

Audacity and record from the sound card? Sounds good...

Is an audio converter hardware or software?

Audacity can't support MIDI files and I don't want to download the new BETA because it might be unstable...

OR you can use this site: http://www.hamienet.com/midi2mp3

Not only converts into mp3 but uses better sounds then the computers built in midi. I find it quite useful. Hope to have helped.

You can't import midi to Audacity, but if you set it to record from the sound card then you can play it through while it's recording it, and just export it into mp3.

Some soundcards don't have the option, unfortunately. But hopefully you should.

Select the stereo input to record from (it essentially records any sound that is going on in your computer).

I have a problem with media convert... When it's transferred to mp3 the guitars sound like synth :? And I've only just got audacity so I'm not too sure how to record from the soundcard :(

Yeah that sucks dude... Anyway there's an easier way to do it... Turn the tracks way down and then click export > wave and record from there... Then get a wav to mp3 converter and you're good to go :)
