Timeghoul

Timeghoul were (are) a fairly underrated death metal band that formed in 1987, released two demos in the 90's, and then subsequently disbanded

They play with a pretty interesting style with a great use of dissonance, melody, kickass solos and leads, and chunky death metal riffs.

Recommended listening for any who fancy death metal in general.

God the production is horrible. Too bad, coz they sound awesome.

Download their "Panaramic Twilight" demo if Tumultuous Travelings is too rough for your tastes, better production overall.

I've been meaning to check this band. So far this is really incredible material.I love the haunting clean vocals in " The Seige".

VampireGoldfish 08-20-2009 03:14 PM

Amazingly kick ass muzak. Timeghoul destroys.

VampireGoldfish 08-20-2009 07:55 PM

Also Timeghoul is one of the greatest band names ever for Death Metal.

Took your advice....AMAZING stuff

linfield4466 03-19-2010 09:54 PM

Well you wonder why they were underrated. Two demos at under an hour's material doesn't necessarily spread like a virus throughout the American death metal scene. That being said, this band is pretty epic haha, shame those demos haven't been picked up by a record company and released on CD or something. Only time can tell...

The Frayed Ends 03-19-2010 10:04 PM

I'm not the biggest fan of Tumultuous Travellings, however Panaramic Twilight is seriously epic stuff. Demo-only bands (and demos in generally honestly) aren't really my thing but Timeghoul is definitely a hidden gem any death metal fan should at least listen to once.

linfield4466 03-19-2010 10:08 PM

Demo only is fine by me, I was merely arguing with the TS about why calling a demo only band underrated is irrational.

SOMEONE FROM MEXICO COULD AT LEAST BOOTLEG IT FOR CHRIST'S SAKE

linfield4466 04-01-2010 10:15 AM

That is mega epic. I actually had a dream a few weeks ago that their material was reissued on a pink CD :haha

severed-metal 04-01-2010 10:22 AM

Listening to these guys sober, there's a huge difference...Jesus christ, they're a death metal band?!

I hope it's reissued, the quality is terrible. Even for a demo.

Stranglehold 04-01-2010 10:23 AM

Haha, deadly... yeah PL are really upping the game these days. Cool label, and their releases are always real professional looking, especially the new Vasaeleth.
