So guys after 25,000+ posts and near 50,000 views...i decided the old thread could deserve an archive.

MORE TO COME!

About the legion:
- A dedicated group of 7 string* players who discuss, play and live for extended range guitars. From 7 string standard scale, to anything you can imagine...you're welcome.

Legion? Who?

-We've been here for over 3 years now...get used to it!

Ok, so who is in charge?
-We are family...there IS order but it is there to recognise members who are putting outstanding contribution in their well deserved place. See the names below? Listen to them, PM them with questions..send them cookies and give them foot rubs. Thats why they are on the list and thats why I trust them to give you what you need to know. But remember there is not always a right or a wrong, often enough just opinions.

Ranks can and DO change on a frequent basis.
(in descending order of position, all members of the same position are equal. Highlighted members are of Mod/site maintenance status)

Mazzakazza 08-30-2010 01:36 PM

Haha, alright then. Is the old thread getting archived?

piop 08-30-2010 01:37 PM

I bottled getting an Agile 7 string at the start of the year because I thought it would be somewhat pointless when I'm still playing through a Line 6 Spider 2. Did I make the right call or would it still have sounded ok even through such a basic amp?

Shredx 08-30-2010 01:37 PM

new thread alright :)

this reminds me i need to play my 7 more, its been neglected abit recently !

DeadlyIllness 08-30-2010 01:38 PM

oo havnt seen many of them around hows it play?

It wouldn't have sounded fantastic, but for practicing playing a 7, I see no problem. I gig through a Cube 60 with 7s. I'll be honest, it's not the best sound, but I can't afford to upgrade, and it does do the job.

It would have sounded like any other guitar through a spider but know this: it's never the wrong time to get a 7 string :p:

I feel I should upgrade my amp first though, which is going to be hard given how I don't think I could GIVE away my current gear!
How are the new Agiles? Still highly rated?

SYLrules88 08-30-2010 01:59 PM

Generally, yes, everyone who has one still thinks they're brilliant, especially now they've worked the production and QC issues out of the newest models.

godofshred 08-30-2010 02:01 PM

they do look awesome...after one myself for some time.
