Football Manager 2012 Thread
I did my Searchiest Searchy McSearchenstein and couldn't find an FM12 Thread
I'm pretty sure I'm not breaking any rules, and searching through some of the offical FM12 blogs for something is akin to trying find your longest pubic hair in the dark. So all things FM, UG it is.
Just somewhere to post problems, share tactics, brag about how Putting your FM achievements on your CV worked etc etc. :)

No problems right now, feel free to ask for any of your problems to be quoted in to this section.
I wanna play FM now :(
I prefer to play football.
But I did lead Everton to the title without buying anyone. Fellaini got young player of the year, despite being better than everyone else
Me too, I'm in work, and doing forums as part of my qualification, thought I may as well do this, now I'm regretting it as I'm all sad that I'm not prepping for the FA Cup final :(
We have an FM group if you're interested. Got made because people complained about too much FM talk in the football thread: http://groups.ultimate-guitar.com/footballmanager/
Hasn't been used in ages though so it probably isn't even worth it.
I never get money, so I survived my first 3 years on free transfers, managed to snap up Michael Owen, Andy Carroll, Pepe, Angel Di Maria, Clarence Seedorf and Daniel Van Buyten all on frees.
There's some decent pages on facebook -
"Putting your Football Manager Achievements On Your CV"
"Giving A Random Young Player a Pay Rise Because You're A ****ing Top Bloke"
"Rejecting Your Offer From Barcelona Because You're Happy At Barnet"
They're all top class if you bother with pages on Facebook
Best thread on UG.
Not as good as http://notdoppler.com/newstarsoccer.php
as opposed to the FM12 App, wanky wank wank.
I can never get many players I want on frees (I do play on the psp though >_>)
I saw that Kakuta's contract was like a month from expiring, but it wouldn't let me offer him one so I kept trying then, Chelsea gave him a new contract. Had to settle for Thiago, who decided to get injured for like 8 months
I never really play it now. I had a season going with some National League French team, was on my way to Ligue 2 then my laptop died. Installed it on my new one but I haven't started anything properly yet.
Don't even have the new(est) game, I still play FM10 :p: achieved an unprecedented streak of success as Arsenal from 2009-2026. They built a new stadium and named it after me. Then I got bored.
Recently transferred my saves on to my fiancee's laptop... mine was Windows XP, hers is windows Vista... It's like playing a whole new game, it's spectacular with half-decent softward :')
I did that once... CHAMPIONSHIP MANAGER 4 for PS2!!
Urawa Red Diamonds in the J-League <3
What's it like on Handheld? The iPhone app is ****ing dreadful.
This thread is getting a link put in the OP of the Club Football thread :o
Soon finished my 4th season with Dortmund. 77 games unbeaten in the league the two past seasons. 6 draws and won the rest. 3 draws per season. :p:
Yeah I bought a MacBook so now I can run a game with a large database and more than 1 league at more than like 1/2 a star game performance.
