the puppet who strings are pulled

as she dances for you
arousing emotion
forgetting the voice that implores you

you plead for his head
you want him dead
controlled by the puppeteer
strings pull on your joints
you don't have a choice

his head rests on a platter
his feeble attempt to flatter
