Wah help

i play in a blackend/stoner/doom band, and i use my wah quite a lot, i used to use a boss ME50 for everything, but ive replaced all the distortion pedals etc, so i figured a get a new wah and do away with the ME50, so i bought a cry baby GCB95, but i really dont like it, it sounds weird with that much fuzz, is there a better suited wah pedal for really high gain? i liked the sound of the wah on the ME50.
any help welcome!

Can you explain us your pedal order? I'm thinking there's where your problem is but I need that info to be sure.

If you're using dirt pedals, try placing the wah before and after all your dirt. You'll find it more pronounced in one place, although I've used a Crybaby a few times for Metal stuff and I couldn't get on with it either.

my pedals in order (at the moment) are:

tc electronic polytune
cry baby
earthquiaker devices tone reaper
custom audio electronics boost/overdrive
ibanez af 2 flanger
boss bf 3
mxr 10 band eq
isp decimator

Maybe you just need an output buffer on the wah if it sounds weird with fuzz pedals.

I'd recommend to try the 535Q Cryaby, imo its better than the regular Crybaby, because of the extra controls you get, and it has a boost. Own both and the 535Q makes my guitar scream more, specially with the boost.

I use an Ibanez Weeping Demon wah for high gain and I'm a fan. Sturdily built with tone and level controls. Worth checking one out, TS.

If you're considering the 535q also look at the crybaby from hell. Same premise, more features, and around here they are actually a tad cheaper.
