Would you like to be able to customize your holidays?
 

As in what holidays are red in the calendar: Christmas eve, easter, bank holiday or whatever you have.

Do you think it's fair non-practising christians get a day off on easter? Maybe the holidays should be spent as someone wants to, eg Muslims get to skip easter holiday in favour of Eid-Al-Fitr. You'd get 10 days or so per year to spend on your own personal holidays.

Would this be a good idea, and would you take advantage of it?

I don't really know to be honest. I think some holidays are inconvenient, but I do like the feeling of everyone in on the same thing, like St. Patrick's day. It wouldn't be the same thing if just a handful did it and the rest just carried on like normal schmucks.

Nah. Holidays aren't a personal thing, they are a societal thing.

Does everyone get the same number of holidays, regardless of their beliefs?

No.

I'd like to take all my holidays at once. Just so I can have about a month to do nothing.
