Help with a digital piano

Hi, I didn't see a piano section in the forums so I post here.

I'm a piano student and I want to buy a digital piano. I'm very low on cash and digital pianos are kind of expensive.
What I want is something that has the essentials of an acoustic piano. I need the basic things like weighted keys, key sense, and the 3 pedals reception.

Is there something like that, cheap but good?

check out the Kawai CE 200's, reasonably priced, standard features including weighted keys, 3 pedals, etc.

Just to qualify my opinion,
I'm picking up piano skills to supplement my Jazz studies, I play guitar mainly, so I'm no expert.

What you really need is a new amp...

You should check out some websites like Pianoworld if you want a good recommendation, I don't think too many folks around here are familiar with the world of digital pianos.

Take a look at your local cragslist, ebay, whatever for a used upright piano. I've seen many people just throwing them out, you can usually get them next to nothing, though they aren't exactly ideal, I'd say they're more preferable over a digital piano in the same price category. Of course space and noise might be a problem.

Fully weighted MIDI keyboards don't come cheap, let alone whole digital pianos.
