Colorado is 'bout to legalize marijahuana

Medical is already legal here, but we'll be voting on an amendment that would completely legalize possessing and consuming small amounts for any reason. Who's jelly?

On a more serious note, what do you think will happen if this passes? Will there be a federal crackdown on Colorado? Or will it start a kind of wave effect that will lead other states to legalize as well?

Cb4rabid 10-17-2012 07:38 PM

Probably won't go through, and if it does, huge federal crackdown because the US legal system is ******ed.

Shouldn't you be in Colorado? :o

BlitzkriegAir 10-17-2012 07:43 PM

NJ just opened up their first dispensary the other day. Hopefully if all goes well ill be getting my medical card soon and going there. Hopefully it passes in Colorado, it would be a great turning point in peoples perception of it.

Mountains: the natural enemy of Mormons. Always traveling in packs of 2(citation needed) parents and at least 15 fucking kids, Mormon families have difficulty traversing the rugged and treacherous peaks to make the journey from Utah to Colorado. Thus Colorado has been left relatively untouched by the religious scourge that is Mormonism.

Sports betting is banned under federal law but 3 states currently have and on Jan 1 2013 my state will be the forth, the federal ban on weed is stupid and Obeezy is a schmuck because he cam legalize it without the need of congressional approval thanks to something Nixon did in the 60's. I forget the name of the specific act but because of the influx of new drugs in the 60's the president has the power to add or remove substances from the list of banned narcotics to avoid the lengthy process congress requires.
