It certainly won't be around in its current form, if that's what you're asking. Facebook is always adding new features.

If by "the way it is now" you mean "the top social networking site," really, who knows? If I was a goddamn wizard I'd tell you. But alas, I am not. ;_____;

Five years from now? I don't think it wall collapse a la Myspace, but I am sure another site within that time will give it some competition.

When I joined in 2006 I was still mostly using MySpace. But slowly more and more of my friends went to FaceBook cause it was less annoying and more simple. Now it's getting more annoying and less simple.

Unless there's some decent competition I'm sure it'll stay in top. MySpace and Xanga were the coolest like 7-10 years ago and didn't last near as long or have a huge base like FB.

Exactly. We have enough social networks already. Any more is just a stupid idea. Imo, this question is, kind of dumb, to be honest.

Look at Google+, it did absolutely nothing to knock Facebook off its throne. The only way Facebook will collapse is if they **** it up themselves. Which they're starting to do with this "promote your status" shit. £4 to make my post stay at the top of people's news feeds? I'm sure they care about the chavs outside or the running time of The Hobbit. Yeah, my statuses are great.
