V Vs V

YET ANOTHER POST ABOUT VS! So mainstream.... xD

Okay, so I plan on getting a V guitar and have two options I have set myself.
I am a huge Megadeth fan and like a few Thrash bands. I also like Classic Metal and a bit of Black and Death Metal.
My two options are:

Gibson Flying V faded
Dean VMNT

Which do you think is better / more suitable for me?

Thanks

Gibson 68 V

non-faded.

Also, stop making threads on the same topic.

As I've said, I can't afford the 68.

In reply to your second point, to be fair it's a different topic. The other one was avout suggestions. Now that I've lined up two Vs that I like it's time for a Mexican standoff.

Not really, you're still comparing Flying V's like you were in the last thread. Just fewer Flying V's in this one.

Honestly in my opinion, get a used 68.

why don't you go try both and buy the one you like best?

The VMNT looks mean, but will it sound like it looks though? The hardware is solid, so are the pickups, but i've never tried them.

The 68 V is much more of a classic V design, because well, it should be.

Can you try these guitars out? They aren't particularly similar. You could end up going the wrong way without playtesting them.

If you want me to elaborate, sure. I'll do it.

The reason why i'm recommending the Gibson is because i've played a VMNT and i own a Gibson V. The reason why i chose the Gibson over the Dean is because the Gibson just played and sounded better. I like how classic V's look, they're nice and light, they're very acoustically loud and the pickups they use are very good.

The necks just feel really nice on them too. I've played many guitar but i've never played one that had such a perfect neck profile.

Haven't you noticed that he loves to make duplicate threads? He did the same thing for his "design" thread.

I pretty much pointed that out in my first post, yes.

Guys, stop trying to get me banned or whatever. I don't see the point.
Anyway, I've tried the VMNT and loved it. So I'll go for that.

Its against the rules to make threads on the same topic.

Oh...
But something being on the same topic is partly up to interpretation. Either way, I'll delete this thread.
