LX1E alternatives

So as we are all fully aware, doomsday Christmas is approaching the horizon, and here at U-G that generally means GAS is temporarily cured, right?

Well here's my problem. I wanted the Martin LX1E but nowhere has it in stock as it seems it's out of production, so guys, help a brutha out (and I promise I'll never say that again)

I'm after a similar sized baby acoustic with preinstalled pickup.

I've played the Taylor GS Mini and liked it but as that had no preinstalled electrics (you have to do it yourself with a Taylor aftermarket POS) i've decided against it.

Budget: 500-600
Location: Liverpool UK (nearest major city)
new or used: preferebly new

I trust you guys to help me out here.

Peace!

The LX1E is out of stock in all UK stores (and has been for several months), with the next delivery expected April/May 2013.
Probably due to the popularity of Ed Sheeran. :)

Too late for Christmas.... but worth holding out for if you would like one. With the pre-installed pickup they are surprisingly good little guitars.

this is part of the reason i want one.

went to see him last week and he was absolutely phenomenal! easily the best live artist i've seen, and i have seen john Mayer (twice), ahem... Dolly Parton, Katy Perry, Marina adn the Diamonds and a few others...

just how a chubby ginger kid with an acoustic guitar and a loop pedal can be so entertaining is beyond me but he was! i've known of him for about 5 years now after seeing him at a local small 'festival' (Liverpool Sound City)

do you know if the LX1E are still actually in production, theres just none available in the UK, or are they totally out of production now.

i've also looked at the LXME but again, out of stock :(
