The type of music I'm gonna be playing is going to be Pop punk / Rock and its around $200 - $600

i love my orange practise amp its a very tiny one, it was cheap as hell. Rocks an headphone input and sounds just great :D especially for hendrix-y stuff.

omg that a bargain, i guess prices up here (italy) are off the hook especially when it comes to Mesa.

They're waaay overpriced anywhere but the US I hear. and even then, damn they're pricey.

wow makes me want to live in the US, just to get a Mesa for that kinda price. Up here it means you have an extra mortage or you are a pro player :P

I'd check out the Roland Cube. For a practice amp, it's pretty good. Some will like it, some won't, I guess, but I think it's pretty good for just dicking around in your room.

hey man, it would really help us suggest stuff if you answered all the questions in yonder link.

the cube is a great practice amp and nothing more. for $600 you can do so much better.
