Need help picking out a bow
So all my life I've been hunting with only a shotgun. Recently bow hunting has gotten more and more popular in my community. On top of that there are only three shotgun seasons in Illinois and I'm not always available during those weekends. The place I hunt is two hours away but I know people closer to home that will allow me to bow hunt on their land. One problem though, I don't know a thing about bow hunting or bows. I was wondering if anyone here could point me in the right direction as far as a good, affordable bow to get.

French or German?

I enjoy hunting the French a bit more than Germans. |

The French just kind of lay down and let you get them though. What fun is that? |

I dunno, the French run and hide more often; the Germans at least fight back. They might go into an economic depression beforehand, but they fight back. |

My thoughts, exactly! |

I don't understand why you broke up that sentence with a comma. I read it like Shatner. |

I suggest the Japanese bow.

Stick to the shotgun. Bow hunting is kind of shitty. Very limited range, you risk losing the animal a lot of the time, and it's just annoying to have to carry a bow through the woods. Seriously. It WILL get caught on every branch you pass. Plus, it's a pretty slow/stressful death for the animal, regardless of where you hit.

I suggest you get a new amp.
And tighten the truss rod. |

Seems a bit more fair than a gun, but I think you should go out barehanded... Level the playing field.

Wait a minute, has anyone realized that you don't pick a bow, but rather bow with it?
