Ibanez Troubadour T20

I bought this acoustic amp a few months ago and I'm wondering if I can use an electric guitar with it. I'm lookin to buy an electric soon so... yeah. Help?

yes you can, but it won't sound that great. Acustic amps are voiced diffrently than and electric guitar amp.

Hmmm... How different would it be? I would also like to get an distortion pedal at some stage as well. Will that be bad?

I'd just skip out on the acoustic amp and get an electric amp.

Acoustic with no amp = great

Electric with no amp = meh

don't get a distortion pedal, use that money to get an electric amp

So I can play an Electric through an acoustic? If so, I will probs get an electric then save up for an proper amp later.

Yes you can play an electric guitar through an acoustic amp. The sound will not be that great because an acoustic amp is made to emphasize the fequences of an acustic guitar not an electric guitar.
Also an acoustic amp is not made to be distorted so it will not give you any overdrive by its self
