what tone cap for emg pickups/25kpots??
 

got a set a couple weeks ago and got them in the guitar, but I have the wrong tone cap in and it either broke when i took it off the other pot or is just completely wrong (it came from a 500k pot).

anyway, the 81/60 combo sounds great, but Id really like to have a tone pot that works... I feel like the wrong cap might somehow suck tone... but I just permanently wired 18v mod in, and with the extra juice it still sounds pretty awesome.

EMG diagrams show a .1uf capacitor. But I want to say that my Blackouts came with a .47uf capacitor, and they roll off very nicely.
