FS/T: Gibson Les Paul platinum w/mods & upgrades

Gibson Les Paul studio. It started out its life as an ugly 'platinum' edition.
It has been beautifully stripped back to the wood and oiled up. Solid slab of mahogany & a gorgeous flat ebony board (markerless). It's got Planet Waves locking auto-trim tuners on it, which are cool and a tonetails ally stop tail.

Since I've had it I threw in a pair of Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pros and added a kill switch in one of the tone pots. The other tone knob now acts as a master tone control for both pups. Beautiful guitar, plays fantastically and sounds immense.

Comes with an excellent rigid soft case. Very tough and durable with lots of pockets etc. Cost me £80 or something.

Looking mainly for a sale but could be tempted by a part ex/trades (V's, SG's, a Semi-hollow or maybe a nice electro acoustic) but cash is king; £500.

I'm in Manchester and would prefer someone reasonably local for a face to face dealy.

Alright Mickey. As Ibanez's go, that's pretty nice but still, not my bag really. Besides, I'm looking for the case so I can get myself an electro acoustic. Cheers though.

My other guitarist is GASing hard for a LP, whilst trying to get rid of the 'nez. So I thought I'd throw it out there for him haha
