Stuck with a Beat
 

I've tried a ton to put my poems into song, but whenever I find a good beat or rythm, I find myself singing another song. I know it seems silly, but I would like help please!!!

Generally you're going to write parts specifically for the parts you have. Don't try to write two separate ideas and throw them together.

Do you know about stresses and meter in poetry? If you don't, that may help.
