FS: Epiphone LP Custom, Swollen Pickle Fuzz, EHX Tube Distortion, More...

NOTE: Pictures pending on all items. Expect them posted in the next 48 hours, though I can provide them immediately if requested.

#1: I have for sale a slightly modified white 2006 Epiphone Les Paul Custom, with gold hardware and a black pick guard. Judging by the serial number (EE061114186), this guitar was made in November 2006 - making it a part of the Qingdao factory's first year of operation. This particular guitar has a couple cool modifications done to it:

First, the pickups have been upgraded to Epiphone USA 50SR and 60ST; for those of you who don't know, those are the pickups from an Epiphone Elitist guitar, Epiphone's mostly discontinued MIJ line. This is a huge improvement upon the stock Alnico Classics and Epiphone's new ProBuckers - the same crunch we all know and love, but with much more clarity. The neck pickup in particular has a haunting, airy quality to it.

Second, while I still have the original bridge (which is on the guitar now as we speak), I've also had a Stetsbar tremolo bridge on it from time to time, and will be including this with your purchase. I've never had the tremolo arm, but instead have been using a Fender Strat whammy bar, which fits just as well (meaning that there's a little bit of give, but not too much). The Stetsbar just slides right on and slides right back off when you want it gone. If you've ever wanted a vibrato on your Les Paul, this will get the job done.

Third, a previous owner switched the top strap button to a strap lock.

Bear in mind, this is a used budget-brand guitar that has seen multiple owners already, so here are some things to be aware of:
  • A couple small dings on the body, but none of which penetrate the finish
  • Belt buckle marks on the back of the body
  • Nut gets loose when strings are removed (could use a dab of glue?)

This guitar will be shipped in an SKB hardshell case, which is currently retailing for $139 new. This guitar sold for $550 new, $350-450 used, while the pickups generally sell on eBay for over $100, and a new Stetsbar bridge will cost you at least $200. All in all, this is about a $700 value.

Asking price: $400 US plus shipping.

#2. I have a Way Huge Swollen Pickle fuzz pedal, essentially a clone of the old op-amp Big Muff. You can get a very wide range of sounds out of this pedal, though, and it's one of the most rugged enclosures I have ever seen.

There are a couple very shallow dents, and some of the text on the back came off when I was washing off the back. There is also some velcro - a plus if you're into pedalboards.

This pedal will be shipped in its original box. It generally sells for $100-130 new, $80-100 used.

Asking price: $65 US plus shipping.

#3. Ibanez LF7 "Lo Fi" Pedal: Kind of an odd duck. There are three functions here: a high-pass filter that lets you select how much bass to cut, a low-pass filter that lets you select how much treble to cut, and a drive control that lets you set the amount of distortion you want. As it's part of Ibanez's now-discontinued Tone Lok series, you can push the knobs in once you have your settings, and you don't ever have to worry about losing those settings.

This pedal doesn't show up all that often, but I've seen it occasionally go for about $50 used.

Asking price: $35 US plus shipping.

#4. Electro-Harmonix English Muff'n Tube Distortion Pedal: I was given this used by a friend to settle a debt. However, it doesn't come with the 12-volt power supply that you need to run it (doesn't take a 9-volt!), so I haven't had a chance to try it out. From the demos I've heard, it looks like you're supposed to be able to get some nice Vox clean tones and Marshall crunch out of this thing.

I've generally seen this pedal for for $100-130 used, but I'll ask for a little less because - as mentioned already - this doesn't come with the power supply (which you can order for $15 ).

Asking price: $80 US plus shipping.

#5. Planet Waves Auto-Trim Locking Tuners: I was using these on a guitar that suffered a broken neck two months later. They generally go for $50-60 new.

Asking price: $30 US plus shipping.

#6. Teisco Decca Single-Coil Pickups - a pair of what seem to be surface-mount pickups. These are Japanese-made single coils from a Teisco-made, Decca-branded "Prestige" model dating to the late '60s.

Asking price: $30 US plus shipping.

Bear in mind that I live in California; ergo, while international buyers are more than welcome, US buyers are preferred. I am somewhat open to negotiating on prices, but for the most part I feel that the prices offered are already very fair.

Finally, I am selling off all these items to fund the purchase of my first "professional" guitar - perhaps a Gibson SG. I'd like to thank anybody who helps me in pulling off this feat. :D

I found that the locking tuners were missing one of the six washers, and a friend just bought the Stetsbar bridge off of me. I am now offering the Les Paul + case for $300 plus shipping.
