2 pentanonic boxes 3 strings enough?
 

I noticed when I'm soloing I'm using the 1st and 4 positions of min pentatonic and mostly the e-b-g strings.Am I doing to little?

There's no such thing as too little, but if you learn to use the whole fretboard, you will get more out of your solos.

What positions and strings you're using is irrelevant, doesn't mean anything, doesn't matter one bit.

What DOES matter is the sound you're making - so, ask yourself this question

When you solo are YOU happy with the music that comes out?

In all seriousness though, it's not too little but the more you know the less limited you'll be. And ya, it should sound good
