I have been tormented with a song to which I do not know the lyrics . it is a pop song from the 90s or maybe early 2000s. The song is male voice, drums and strings. it is fairly slow 80-90 bpm, and the singer sounds like he is from the goo goo dolls or someone of his ilk. The song had heavy radio play. it has a melancholy mood.

I have not heard the song in a long time, but nostalgia'd when drunk. I know it is a longshot with such little information, but hopefully someone knows the tune.
