Like the title - that's just my game!

Kicks in like it means business!

Drums and bass (is there any bass?) are a little buried (maybe a personal opinion...).

3:11 - Like the stop and change

Metal ain't my bag, but it sounds tuff enough!

Need help on mine if your doctor will allow...

Thank you.

That mask is scary as hell. Cool song man. I love the Loomis signature.

MentaLrz 01-21-2013 08:24 AM

I'm glad the mask scared you.

Good song man. With vocals it will make it sound hella better though this it's a relatively simple song. I actually wanted a Jeff Loomis schecter 7 string for a while but now I'm looking into Esp or MAYBE PRS. What's your recording set up like?

A little hard for my tastes, but it's friggin' tight. Kudos.

For that specific song;

POD HD Pro
Scarlett Focusrite 8i6
KRK RP5 G2
Schecter Jeff Loomis
Shitty 5 string bass. (Will be buying a new one soon enough)

It could be tighter but I wanted to get that song out of the way, it kind of backlogged me a bit.

Nice man. What DAW?

Mommy, I'm scared....
Please hold me....

Nah but seriously, that's some tight rhythm guitar playing. I wish I had a 7 string, well I think I counted 7 strings. Are you doubling or tripling the main riffs, because that's a pretty big sound, and again pretty tight.

I like your solo at 2:28.... sounds great, and I like your lead tone--there's not tooooo much gain on the tone like I sometimes hear on the lead guitar tone in a genre like this.

Plus, you got a sense of humor in your video as a bonus!!

Because of your lead guitar playing style, I think you might like my guitar playing, could you visit my thread and maybe leave a comment:

All I think is CORE. Diggin' it. Sounds like something my bad would play.

Awesome solo shredding.

Outro riff with the overlay is my favorite part.

I appreciate the replies.

This is nice and heavy just how i like it. Really sick solo. Good job man. and its been said but vocals would add quite a bit.

Check out my stuff links in my sig.

Really heavy riffs, I dig it man. The solo is nice too, and the song's pretty solid overall, love the ending, sounds like... mental? No pun intended.
