Problems with High e-string on acoustic guitar
 

Hi!

So I'm a little new to the acoustic guitar world. I got this guitar a month ago and up until now there's been no problems at all. But recently, I've discovered that the high e-string won't resonate the note when played on the 12th-15th frets. When I try, it just makes a plucking sound as if something was lodged between the string and the fretboard. What does this indicate? Is this usually just a problem with the string itself or (god forbid) the bridge? Is this fixable?
