My 365 Day YouTube music project
Long story short, when I lost power for about a week because of Hurricane Sandy I realized that I hadn't been playing enough guitar, ukulele, or piano recently and with changing that in mind I decided to upload one song to YouTube for every day of 2013. (Mostly covers, but some originals.)

You can find them all at YouTube. My music channel is /JosephVisaggi

Here are the list of ones I have uploaded so far (in reverse order):
Amazed (Lonestar)
*** Excuse Me, an original song
Sunday Night Football Theme
Lovefool (The Cardigans)
*** Hear You Me (Jimmy Eat World) (This one is very sad. I did it shortly after hearing my girlfriend's mom had passed away.)
Misery (Maroon 5)
No More Lonely Nights (Paul McCartney)
You Send Me (Sam Cooke)
Sex and Candy (Marcy Playground)
Baba O'Riley (The Who)
*** Lovin' You (Minnie Riperton)
Beep, Beep (The Playmayes)
*** The Man Who Sold The World (David Bowie)
*** Psycho Killer (Talking Heads)
*** I'm Gonna Be (The Proclaimers)
*** Until The Day I Die (Story Of The Year)
I Can See Clearly Now (Johnny Nash)
*** (What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love, and Understanding (Elvis Costello)
Used To Love Her (Guns N Roses)
My Ding-A-Ling (Chuck Berry)
*** Photographs and Memories (Jim Croce)
On The Road Again (Willie Nelson)
*** Goodbye Forever (Alkaline Trio)
Wind Scene/Yearnings Of The Wind (Chrono Trigger OST)
Jump Shout Boogie (Barry Manilow)
1, 2, 3, 4 (Plain White Ts)
*** Butterfly (Weezer)
My Evil Plan To Save The World (Five Iron Frenzy)
Sit Down, John (from the musical 1776)
Low Man's Lyric (Metallica)
Me And Julio Down By The Schoolyard (Paul Simon)
*** Better Man (Pearl Jam)
*** Vienna (Billy Joel)
Back In The USSR (The Beatles)
*** Pourquoi Une Chaise Est Une Fille?, an original song
Don't Worry Be Happy (Bobby McFerrin)

White Christmas (Bing Crosby)
I Miss You Most On Christmas (Bowling For Soup)

I put asterisks by the ones I've had the most positive feedback on.

I'm going to trying to remember to update this topic daily, but if you like what I'm doing, please subscribe or "like" me on Facebook. (I post everything there, too.) I'm also on Twitter and a few other sites.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that there is a list of songs I'm planning to do or have done on my website,

Feel free to suggest others. =)

Thats a pretty nice list. Maybe look into doing "Time" by Hootie and the Blowfish or something by staind?

hempick 02-07-2013 11:21 AM

That is a great idea. I love Hootie. Did one of theirs last year. I'm not too familiar with Staind, though. Any in particular you can recommend?

Today's upload was Time Warp from The Rocky Horror Show, btw.

I meant to upload this a few days ago. RIP Reg.

Sure. Check out the song "Epiphany" by Staind. I think that would be a good one for you to try.

It's my birthday, so you are getting a Billy Joel song today and there isn't anything you can do about it!

(Btw, I'll look at those songs and see what I can do.)
