Unbelievably ****ed up Death Metal from Australia. I have their new album, Outre', and it is one of the most horrifying albums I've ever heard. I definitely recommend this to anyone who loves weird atmospheric Death Metal.

Let me be the first to say....a tad overrated! Outre is great, I really love the Immolation/Beherit/demented noise mix, but Ive seen some horribly overblown reviews for this album.

All in all though, great band, I must get Seepia soon.

Yeah, I don't think it's the greatest or most horrifying album ever, but it is certainly a great and really ****ed up album.

Yeah, I checked this out after seeing it on the Decibel Top 40 Albums of 2007 back in January, and I loved it.

I haven't listened to it in a good long time, though.

Yeah, I first heard them mentioned in an interview Terrorizer did with the owner of the label they're signed to.

more people need to hear this band

The name fits the music, it feels like youre getting sucked into an abyss of sound.

Yeah, just something about this band gives you a really creepy feeling, not even just the music, from the album covers/band photos you can pretty much tell this is ****ed up.

Basically that but a lot darker and weirder...

EDIT: What I mean is this band has a really mysterious, uneasy feel about them.

this is definitely creepy as hell but idk if i like it that much. like ive been looking for a metal band with this kind fo vibe to it, but most of the time they have that wierd noise mxed in with everything and it just doesnt sound good to me. i can barely hear instruments/growling sometimes.

Yeah, I just made that in Photoshop a few months ago, and I had an opening to use it. :p:

I could take it back into Photoshop and dry and make it a bit darker, but I'm lazy at the moment. :p:

EDIT: Linqua, I kinda get what you mean but you can't really listen to this type of music the same way you would most other music.

Portal's actually post-Cynic and they suck in my opinion.

The Aussie Portal is great, though.

Very interesting blend. Deffinitely that wall of sound mix here. Thanks for turning me onto this new stuff.
