How many springs are in the back and how long are they? It might just need shorter stiffer springs or more of them. No big deal as long as you have the room in the cavity.

Gotoh, Schaller, and Original Floyd are all right there with each other in quality. Original Edge from Ibanez is also top notch. That's Gotoh made as well, or it use to be at least.

Not a bad looking guitar. The only thing I noticed that you'd need to fix is the lack of shielding in the control cavity. No foil and no conductive paint from what I can see.

Check the screws in the back holding the spring claw in place. It seems like maybe one of the screws slipped and let the claw loose on one side. That would account for the block shifting like that....
