Oh ok.
I was just taken aback, not sure if I had been dooped and given a cheap knockoff and that my amazement at the neck/fretboard and pickup sound was all just a placebo.
How can I be sure?

The mastery one is pretty pricey.

My new Fender American Vintage '62 Reissue arrived.
I've had the chance to test it, it's pretty great.. extremely trebley and really does have a pretty unique sound.
I've had to turn down the treble...

I assume the jazzmaster reissues would be decent too then.
Was doing a bit of reading and a few people were complaining about the floating vibrato though.

I don't mind the hum toooo much, it's just a bit annoying.
Moreso want some more grit from the single coil.

I don't think I'd use phaser THAT much so I'll probably just keep an eye out for a PH-1 for around $100 or even a small stone, one of the older larger housed ones.
