I just sold my SVT 410HLF on Saturday for $250. Great cabs, sound huge and the handle and wheels make it far more portable than any 4x12 guitar cab I've ever owned.

Weird. I've never had the coating strip on any brand of head I've ever owned, unless it had a center dot and started separating around the dot.

Nah, I don't do any of that and never have on a 6 string. It baffles me how people use their thumb or grip with their whole hand - I always extend my fingers and tend to place them very articulately...

If FireWire isn't an issue, I'd get the Saffire Pro 40 instead. You'll have the potential for less latency over FW and it has the same preamps and conversion as the 18i20, plus it costs the same...
